Can your business email be trusted?

Your company email is used for invoices, client communication, contracts, supplier requests, and daily operations. If your domain is not correctly protected, attackers may be able to impersonate your business or damage trust with clients.

Clearpoint checks whether your business email domain is easy to impersonate and gives you a plain-English report with the risks, priorities, and recommended fixes.

The technical checks include SPF, DKIM and DMARC. In simple terms: SPF is the approved-sender list, DKIM is the email signature, and DMARC is the rule that tells inboxes what to do when a message looks fake.

No passwords. No mailbox access. No disruption.

Just a clear answer to one important question:

Can your business email be trusted?

Check my business email domain

Who this is for

This is useful if:

  • your business relies on email for invoices, contracts, clients or suppliers,
  • you use Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Infomaniak, Hostpoint, IONOS, OVH or another hosted email provider,
  • several tools may send email for you, such as newsletters, CRM, invoicing or booking systems,
  • you are unsure whether SPF, DKIM and DMARC are correctly configured,
  • you want a clear fix list for your IT provider without starting a large audit.

What is checked

The starter check uses public email-domain configuration and optional harmless email-header evidence.

  • business email impersonation checks, explained in simple language,
  • approved-sender list check (SPF),
  • email signature check (DKIM),
  • fake-email handling rule check (DMARC),
  • obvious sender/authentication gaps,
  • optional harmless email-header validation,
  • basic public contact-email exposure notes.

What you receive

  • A short plain-English report
  • Risk score and business impact summary
  • Findings table
  • Top recommended fixes
  • Provider-ready implementation notes
  • Optional explanation call

The goal is not to create a large audit. The goal is to make the first risks and fixes clear.

Why this matters

Many small businesses assume their email domain is protected because email works. But working email and protected email are not the same thing.

Think of it like company ID at the front desk:

  • SPF is the guest list: which systems are allowed to send email for your domain.
  • DKIM is the sealed envelope: a signature that helps prove the message was not changed on the way.
  • DMARC is the house rule: what inboxes should do when an email fails the checks.

If these are weak or unfinished, fake invoices, supplier messages, or client requests have a better chance of looking legitimate. A focused check gives management and IT providers a shared, practical starting point.

Important boundaries

This starter check does not require passwords, mailbox access, admin access or vulnerability scanning.

It is not a penetration test, full cybersecurity audit, legal certification, or guarantee against phishing. It is a focused email-domain protection review designed to identify visible configuration risks and recommended next steps.
